Humanizer

Turn AI-sounding text into human-sounding text with 60+ local edit rules, live scoring, and optional AI rewrites from your workspace models.

  • 60+ deterministic edit rules run fully offline in your browser.
  • Readability and AI-tell scoring update as you type.
  • AI rewrites reuse the models and keys already set up in chat.

What the Humanizer changes

The Humanizer applies more than sixty deterministic rewrite rules to text you paste in. They target the specific habits that make machine-written prose recognisable: stacked tricolons, hedging preambles, the 'it is not just X, it is Y' frame, uniform sentence length, transition words at the head of every paragraph, and vocabulary that clusters around delve, leverage, robust, seamless, and tapestry. Each rule is a plain text transformation, so the same input always produces the same output.

Local rules versus AI rewriting

The rule pass runs entirely in your browser with no network request. That makes it fast, private, and repeatable, and it is usually enough to remove the most obvious tells. Optional AI rewriting is separate: it sends the passage to a model you have already configured in the workspace, which costs a request against your own key and produces different output each time. The two can be combined, with the rules pass cleaning up after the model.

Live scoring

As you type, the page recomputes readability alongside a count of detected AI tells and shows which specific phrases triggered them. The score is a heuristic, not a verdict from a detector service, and it is deliberately transparent: every flagged span is one you can click through and inspect rather than an opaque percentage.

Honest limits

No tool can guarantee text passes a given AI detector, and any page that promises that is selling something. Detectors disagree with each other, change without notice, and produce false positives on human writing, particularly for non-native English. What this tool does reliably is remove repetitive machine phrasing and flatten the rhythm patterns that make a passage feel generated.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Humanizer work offline?

The sixty-plus rule passes and the scoring run fully in your browser and need no network. Only the optional AI rewrite requires a request to a model provider.

Will this make my text pass AI detectors?

No tool can promise that, and detectors frequently disagree and misfire on genuine human writing. The rules remove common machine phrasing; they do not defeat any specific detector.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

Not for the local rules or scoring. If you explicitly request an AI rewrite, the passage goes to the provider you selected using your own key.

Can I see why something was flagged?

Yes. Every detected tell highlights the exact span that triggered it, so you can accept or ignore each one individually.
